1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using the StylixAI Chrome extension ("Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Extension.

StylixAI is a personal project created and maintained by an independent developer. It is not operated by a registered company or corporation.

2. Description of Service

StylixAI is a Chrome extension that provides AI-powered website customization. The Extension:

  • Allows you to select any element on any webpage.
  • Routes your modification request to your chosen AI provider (Gemini, ChatGPT, or Claude) via your own active, logged-in session.
  • Generates production-ready CSS and applies it live to the page.
  • Saves persistent rules per website that auto-apply on revisit.

The Extension operates entirely within your browser. It does not run its own servers, databases, or backend infrastructure for page alterations.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use StylixAI. By using the Extension, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

4. Free & Pro Plans

StylixAI offers two tiers of service:

Free Plan: 10 daily AI generations using Gemini AI, with saves on up to 2 websites. All 97 instant themes, 78 custom fonts, color customizer, and quick actions included. No payment required.

Pro Plan: Unlimited AI web customization, active custom themes on every website, unlimited saved websites, and full access to all AI providers (Gemini, ChatGPT, and Claude). Requires a Pro subscription.

  • The Pro status is a recurring subscription managed through DodoPayments.
  • If cancelled, the subscription remains active until the end of the current billing cycle.
  • Subscriptions are linked to your Appwrite account (created inside the extension sidepanel) and verified upon login.

5. Payment & Billing

All payments for the Pro plan are processed by DodoPayments. StylixAI does not directly handle, process, or store any payment information such as credit card numbers or billing addresses.

  • The Pro license is a recurring subscription fee as displayed on the purchase page.
  • Payment is processed securely through DodoPayments' checkout.
  • Upon successful checkout, your Appwrite account session automatically upgrades to Pro status.
  • StylixAI is not responsible for any checkout processing errors on DodoPayments' end.

6. Refund Policy

No Refunds After Trial Ends. Once your trial period (7 days yearly / 3 days monthly) ends and subscription billing is processed, no refunds will be issued. By subscribing, you agree that the purchase is final.

We encourage you to try the Free plan first to ensure StylixAI meets your needs before upgrading to Pro.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree to use StylixAI in compliance with all applicable laws. You must NOT use StylixAI to:

  • Modify websites in a way that violates their terms of service.
  • Inject malicious code or scripts into any webpage.
  • Impersonate other users or entities through style modifications.
  • Engage in any activity that could damage, disable, or impair the functionality of any website.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Extension's code.
  • Redistribute, resell, or share your Pro account credentials with third parties.

8. Third-Party Services

StylixAI integrates with the following third-party services. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms:

StylixAI is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of these third-party services.

9. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the StylixAI Extension — including its code, design, branding, and documentation — are owned by the developer. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Extension in accordance with these Terms.

AI-generated CSS produced through the Extension is subject to the terms of the respective AI provider you used to generate it.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

StylixAI is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

  • The Extension will be error-free or uninterrupted.
  • AI-generated CSS will be accurate, appropriate, or suitable for any purpose.
  • The Extension will be compatible with future versions of Chrome or AI providers.
  • Third-party AI providers will remain available or maintain their current quality.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer of StylixAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of profits, data, or reputation.
  • Website display issues caused by applied CSS rules.
  • Any issues arising from third-party AI provider changes or downtime.
  • Unauthorized access to your AI provider or Appwrite accounts.

You use StylixAI at your own risk and are solely responsible for any CSS or style modifications applied through the Extension.

12. Termination

You may stop using StylixAI at any time by uninstalling the Extension. All locally stored data will be permanently removed upon uninstallation.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and Pro access if we determine that the Terms of Service have been violated, including but not limited to account sharing, abusive usage, or fraudulent activity.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Extension shall be resolved through informal negotiation first, and if necessary, through the competent courts of India.
